Doesnt Eat at Times My yorkie is 2 years old and weights 7 pounds. I was wondering if you guys would recommend any good wet food?? The thing is that sometimes he wont want to eat his dry food(royal canine). I mean i mix it with chicken breast n he will eat it, but there are days that I try and give him only the dry food without the chicken and he wont eat it. He does eat it sometimes without the chicken. |
wet food We tried everything with Belle, I use to be in tears trying to get her to eat. Then we tried Fresh Pet Select and she cleaned the plate so fast I thought she inhaled it. I thought she'd eat it a couple times then not want it anymore but it has been about a year and she still jumps all over the kitchen when I'm cutting it up. We usually buy the chicken but now have also started buying the beef and alternating them weekly. She loves that just as much. We buy it a Cub grocery store but several places sell it. Pet shops that have a refridgeated section will have it. It is in the refridge area of the pet aisle. Comes in a tube like hamburger and I just cut slices off then cut them into small chunks. I also keep dry kibble down most of the time and she munches a few pieces throughout the day. The only time I don't give her kibble is when my granddaughter is here as she likes to eat it too:eek: Good luck and hope this works for you. |
As long as he is healthy I wouldnt worry to much about it, Peanut does the same thing. Some mornings he will gobble his food down, and some he wont. |
Have that problem here too. I think its a yorkie thing. Lol. Right now they are eating Natural Balance pretty well but I'm sure that will change soon. |
ok thanks guys for the help n tips |
I'm glad I read your post. My little guy is also crazy about the Fresh Pet Select. It seems to be good quality food, and it smells good too. I also leave dry kibble in the bowl for him to nibble during the day. This makes me feel better. |
