A Smelly Question
 
Maybe I had too much sugar or caffeine this morning...but I will go ahead and ask.

Have you ever heard your dog fart?

I know bigger dogs pass gas all the time, but I've NEVER heard any noise coming from Otis's butt, thank GOD!

I was discussing this with my boyfriend, and neither of us has EVER heard Otis fart! Though sometimes, I will smell something funny for a brief moment...

Junebug, I can always count on you to make me laugh! No, honestly now that you bring it up, I have NEVER heard (or smell) Schatzie fart. However, she (as a normal female) get's very disturbed when my husband passes gas. She runs away and barks at him!

How funny!!! But to answer your question----YES!!! :omg: All the time!!! :) Not only does Weegie pass some gas he also loves to burp!! :p My hubby and I can't believe it!! Not only do we HEAR him fart,, but yes we Smell it too!! :eek: Last night he kept doing it and they were so rancid!!! How can something so small produce something so BAAAAAAD!!! :omg: :icon5: And we are the ones who want to run away and bark at Luigi!!!

I've never heard Hercules fart, but I've definitely smelled it!! :rolleyes: Actually, the first time I smelled his fart, I went searching for poop, I thought he had pooped somewhere!! :p

I definitely have smelled Frankie fart, but haven't heard him yet. I know because sometimes we'll be cuddling with him, and there will be this really funky smell coming from his direction. :eek:

We have smelled Magic fart a couple of times...it is an awful smell...but have never actually heard her let one go, although if she ever did I would laugh so hard!! I guess it is true, the silent ones are deadly.... :D

Haven't noticed it from Mia, by my 103 lb lab, WOW!! The funny thing is when she let's go with a loud one it scares her and she jumps up, turns around and starts barking at her rear. It is WAY funny!

We have smelled Gucci fart, but we haven't heard it. Sometimes my hubby farts an says Gucci did it. lol. :rolleyes:

I'm never actually HEARD Bouncer fart but GOOD LORD, when he does you can smell it a mile away! It's absolutely horrid! :eek: I wonder what he could possibly eat that makes something THAT bad come out of him! lmao

Cricket usually passes gas while whe is snuggled under my chin. I can smell it right away.

toby hasnt done this thank gawd...... but i think my moms dog has a problem with her insides because she does it CONSTANTLY (like so much that it cant be healthy)....

Nope, Yoda is ALWAYS silent but deadly! I was wondering if any Yorkies did fart out loud! Hahahah..

I think he's used to his own farts now, he doesn't mind them. I think when he was a baby, he'd turn around and go, who's that stinking up my room? But now it doesn't faze him at all. Of course, when Mommy and Daddy fart, Yoda always gets the blame now. :p

So funny that I'm reading this - I just posted about my mom feeding Sandy roast beef and potatoes this summer and the killer poopoo after! The farts? Yikes! I blamed my husband until I heard a little "poof" from Sandy - amazing the aroma that can come from a little (well not as little as your guys' but still!) dog! So far nothing from Tia in the aroma or sound arena! :cool:

I've heard Buster's and Smelled the nastiness that came out of his little body. :eek: When we first got him he would share my pillow with me and one night my husband tried to give me a kiss before he fell asleep and Buster passed gas when he learned over, it was sooooo funny because my husband freaked out!! :lol tears Now if my husband passes gas Buster tries to smell where it's coming from. Never seen a dog who enjoys the smell!!! :p
