Drooling? My most recent yorkie 28 month old Jesse must drool when he sleeps, there is always a wet spot left where his mouth had lain. Does anyone else's yorkie do this? I don't know why he would drool, he gets his teeth brushed and his mouth seems fine. Any ideas? He has a vet appt the end of October, I don't know if I should be overly concerned or not. |
Are we taling a tiny little wet spot, or a huge amount. Sometimes they sleep with their mouth open or their tinguw out,...and may not swallow much in a deep sleep. Doubt I sould be too worried about it. Better to be wet than dry, .....dental wise |
Hmm maybe he is having nice dreams? |

I do this too ;) Oh but Poppy dosnt do it, my schnauzer cross does though. :) |
The size varies from a golfball to a tennis ball, so a lot of drooling, He is only 3lbs. I just hope it is nothing serious. |
Darlene, rather than worry about it, why not just give your Vet a call. I may be wrong, but I think it is nothing to worry about. He may have overactive saliva glands. It does sound like a good amount though. Maxine will sometimes make a little puddle on the couch, but maybe 1/2" in diameter. |

I wish I could, My vet doesn't take calls, you just have to ask whatever yuo need to ask when you go to your appt ( one vet in my town, the next is 8rs away ) Hopefully it doesn't mean anything :( |
