Heat cycles and being off feeding schedule? Is there a link? Uni is just about finishing up her heat (her LAST one i promised myself) and during the month she was not eating on schedule. Some days she didn't want to eat until dinner time. Nothing the whole day, even turning away bread. Today, she seems to be winding down, and yup, wanted breakfast right away and was jumping and barking for her Honest Kitchen like she usually does. I guess in humans we are the same too. Some eat more than usual, some less, I barely eat during my cycle, is Uni like mommy? On another note, I found a great vet that I really trust, with reasonable prices, and they take Care Credit. Spay time is approaching! Will she still hump her bed after her spay I wonder? She seems to like doing it, and not just during heat , it's like her daily exersize. I don't mind it, it makes her drink a lot of water. :p Heh heh, she's totally dreaming right now. her paws are twitching up a storm! |
I don't know anything about feeding/heat cycles, but my dad's dog, Lily, was spayed at 6 months old and still humps her teddy bear, lol. Pretty much every night. Jackson was neutered at 6 months as well and he still has this one teddy bear he will hump lol... if the bear comes out, it's like automatic. Otherwise he doesn't hump anything else. But it makes him super tired, I think it's great (lol). I know some people think it's wrong and you should stop it but as long as they're not humping people, or doing it in public. |
