Exercise for yorkies who has CT. What type of exercise does your baby do? Most (a lot of) yorkies with severe cases of collapsing trachea can not or should not do anything that is too strenuous, I was wondering what you do. Walks are out of the question for now for Prince because of the heat here. We play ball for a few minutes a couple of times a day, but I have to be careful that he doesn't get too tired. Sometimes we just walk around the house (inside). |

Ball playing is short intense bursts of activity. If he loves to play ball, do so in a pool, he will keep cool and he can't run too fast in the pool. Start off with short times in pool, on lead and walk him around in it. YOu could get into pool as well, great for your feet:) |

What a great idea! Thank you. I'll be going to Toys R Us on Wednesday. How much water do you put in it...I was guessing just enough to cover their feet, or should there be a little more? |
