is this normal? my baby kailee ate 3 times today, she pooped after she ate in the morning and then did not poop the second time.. the third time i fed her we waited and took her out and she stopped and pooped and sniffed some more and pooped in another place.. when we came back inside she pooped once again! is this normal? Her stool isnt WATER but it is watery  she also drinks a lot of water! could this be why she poops watery? |
there is NOTHING WRONG with this it is just because she ate 3 times, i guess that the food goes threw her quickly! my dog does this too1 once i feed her she goes to the bathroom its common there is NOTHING to freak out about! and her stool might be watery because of the food she eats. |
Thank You for your reply! :) yes i also think it is the food but since I am new to all of this I just dont know which one to pick! |
You say her stools are watery? That could be a concern. Perhaps a quick vet check to rule out parasites would be beneficial. If the loose stools continue, I would definitely take her to the vet ASAP. |
How old is she? What are you feeding her? Soft/canned foods can cause a loose stool. |
and the stool may be watery if you are adding something to her food like oils, wet food(canned), because my yorkies stool was watery when i started putting oil on her food (to make her skin not so dry and itchy) |
she is 8 weeks old and no i just feed her dry food... SCIENCE DIET:thumbdown (I KNOW YUCK.. IM IN THE PROCESS OF CHOOSING BETTER FOOD) but i have been feeding her less and yesterday at night and today in the morning she pooped regular solid stool :) so i will try to keep feeding her the same amount to see if it was that i was overfeeding her ;) do any of you recommend a particular dog food? in Laredo we have a Petco and a Petland... i was thinking Wellness for puppies  but i dont know if it is good food.. |
I have a 6 1/2 month old and a 3 1/2 month old and I feed them both Wellness puppy. Wellness is a very good food and they are both doing great on it! |
