Missing my Raley! Raley was neutered today. The vet himself called me to let me know the surgery went well. I am just so lonely for my little guy. I can just see him lying in the hospital wondering where his mama is....I will be so happy when I go pick him up in the morning. I am ready to give him some much-needed TLC. I am relieved the surgery is behind him, though. Hopefully we won't have any post-op problems!! |
So sorry your baby isn't home with mommy tonight. They are truly a part of our lives and one night away is to many. I hope tomorrow comes quickly for you. Hope your baby has an easy quick recovery. |
Surgery update Thank you! Believe it or not when we picked him up he was just as spry as always. Our female rat terrier (Savannah) that was spayed is a little more guarded so we have her in a kennel so she can rest. She would get in her bed and Raley wanted in her bed with her....but she didn't want a bed buddy! So, I took the top part of her bed off and placed it in her kennel. Raley is still wanting to play and lick Savannah's privates. Neither of them have much of an appetite. The only other way I can tell he has had surgery is that he doesn't try and jump too high. I did notice that Raley's sack is sort of a purple color but you can tell that his balls are gone. I am sure the little sack will shrink up in no time. I actually stayed home sick today because I got sick yesterday. So, right now our whole house is going to nap! Raley in his kennel; Savannah in hers; me in the bed and the hubby on the couch! I am beginning to wonder why I was so nervous over having the surgeries done. I was prepared to really pamper both babies and lavish them with extra tlc....doesn't appear that I had anything to worry about! Thank goodness! For those of you that still haven't done through the neutering/spaying yet--I promise it really isn't that bad. The worst part was not being there with the little ones after the surgery. |
