Testicle appearance after neutering???? Hi All, My puppy Bronx was neutered on friday but I am confused!! We can still see his little testicles, in fact they look EXACTLY like they did before he went for surgery. Is this normal? I thought they took them out during the surgery and there wouldn't be any sign of his testicles. I am so worried that they didn't do the surgery. We had him neutered at the SPCA, and I just don't want him to go through another surgery, the poor little thing has already been through enough! Please help! Worried mommy..:( |

Thank you for your responses, I feel a little silly that I didn't know this, but I also feel relieved! |

That's one of those little things they forget to tell you about post-op. I had a similar panic when Sam got neutered 9 years ago. |
Dont feel sill,y I didnt know untill after I saw it and questioned also |

Now, almost a year later, the skin in that area has smoothed out and you can definitely tell he's neutered. :) |
Thanks again for your support, I just kept thinking, "OMG, I can't put him through that again!". I lost so much sleep last night worrying about him, lol. |
LOL that is funny! We do worry about them dont we? |
I know, he has totally become part of the family :). Love him! |
Aw how sweet! Thats what you like to hear from a pet owner. Best of luck |
Cody was neutered in June and it took a couple of weeks for his testicles to recede. Hope your baby is doing alright. It was a challenge for me to keep Cody semi-quiet. |
Funny...I just noticed those bumps yesterday on Copper. He was neutered 2 months ago. I was thinking the same thing as the OP. Glad to have that cleared up! LOL YorkieTalk is the best! |
I agree! I have learned so many great things here! I couldn't find this information anywhere, I am sure I would have found out this weekend when I take him to the vet for a checkup but I would not have slept til I found out LOL! |
