My puppy weighs.... My pup will be 8 weeks old on Thursday and I have just weighed her and she is 1 pound 9 ounces. Is this a healthy weight for that age and how much do you think she will weigh fully grown? Thanks :animal36 |
My pup weighed 1 lb 2 oz at 8 weeks. She will be 13 weeks this Tuesday & she's still with the breeder. I am scheduled to pick her up Sat. if everything is still going well. Using the puppy growth charts for an estimation, the chart has my baby growing to 3-3.5 lbs full grown. I'm hoping for at least 4 lbs, but will love her no matter! BTW, she goes in for another vet check Tues. & will get another weight check. I can't wait to see how much she's grown! |
My Penny is 7 months old and 5.8 pounds she was 2.2 lbs at 9 weeks old Sienna is 11 weeks on thursday and is exactly 2 pounds |
Some breeders say that a rough guess of adult weight is that you triple the weight at 8 weeks old or double the weight when they are 12 weeks old. Which if my math is correct would be an estimate of about 4 lbs. 11 oz. |
I forgot to say that she is a sweetie pie!! Look at the gorgeous face!! She's a keeper!! |
Thanks everyone, atleast she sounds a healthy weight if she may be between 4-5 pounds :) and thanks for the compliment yorkiechick1 :D |
