dentasure has anyone tried this product? what you think? Dog Dental Health - Dog Bad Breath - Cat Dental - Gingivitis - Tartar - Plaque |
I have not used this product, but I did use PlaqueOff on my 15 year old shih tzu. His teeth are intact, but in his elder years it has become impossible to clean his teeth probably because he is blind now. At his age, I am very hesitant to put him under anesthesia. I purchased this product and put it on a small serving of wet food daily. After 2 weeks his breath is sooo much better and his teeth are now almost a normal color. Don't know what others have experienced, but for Jake, it has worked beautifully. |
Hi, I'm a dental hygienist and I regularly scale my yorkies' teeth, but since you won't be able to do this..I would recommend just a toddlers size tooth brush with plain water. It's the bristles of the tooth brush that removes plaque (not tooth paste or anything else you put on a tooth brush) once it becomes tarter it will have to be scaled of with dental instruments. The younger your baby is when you start brushing the better, I would recommend brushing at least 1 time weekly. Hope this helps! lisa:animal36 |
Never tried it; but have used Petzlife. I love it  It works sooo well. Jackson had a little bit of yellow-ish green-ish color tarter on his canine tooth and one spray of Petzlife and it was gone the next day! |
