Chewing food.. Does it matter if your dog can chew their kibble? Both Mickey (about 5 lbs) and Max (about 7.5 lbs) can not chew Acana. Not sure if it the size of the food or hardness. They can chew smaller kibble like the Natures Variety Prairie line. Thoughts? |
I think that's why I couldn't get Buzz to eat Acana (I think it's an excellent food)...He seemed to have trouble chewing it...Apple, who is smaller than him, had no problem, whatsoever...Viviansnickers, breaks Snicks Acana up w/a nutcracker lol...Can you say spoiled :D |
you can use a mallet and make it into smaller pieces... |
The boys do not "seem" to have a problem from their perspective. They just swallow it and love eating it. Does not matter to them at all. :aimeeyork:aimeeyork It just seems to me they should be chewing it-LOL |
