How do you administer this Mags?? Is it an eye dropper? I've been smashing up Snick's Dasuquin and sprinkling it on his raw, and sometimes he turns his nose up to it! This might be better. Just wish I woulda seen this before spending the 80 bucks on Dasuquin! Sheesh! Hugs- Snick & Viv |
If osteoarthritis is the same in dogs as in humans, you may want to get the dog checked out with an orthopedic surgeon, and have x-rays done first because this product does not do a thing for the spurring that occurs and is so very painful. I knew I had osteoarthritis many years ago so I got myself started on glucosamine chondroitin because I knew there was no cure for this disease but wanted to see if it would help re-build the cartilage in my knees. It didn't, and the pain just got steadily worse so went in for x-ray and found the right knee is bone on bone with spurring. The doctor said glucosamine chondroitin or any other product on the market cannot re-build cartilage. I am now scheduled for knee replacement surgery. Please, go see an orthopedic surgeon first for humans and one for pets. It may save you years of grief and money unwisely spent. |
Pixie just had LP surgery and her orthopedic surgeon said she needed to be on glucosamine and Chondroitin the rest of her life. I don't know if it will help or not but it can't hurt. |

Hi Ladies... I'm having issues getting Snick to eat his Dasuquin and was wondering if anyone had an update after purchasing the Flexicose and how it's going with your Yorkie. Any insight is appreciated... -Snick & Viv |
I think the stuff tastes nasty like cough medicine. Boo the Boxer loves it - but of course Boo the Boxer also loves horse poop so what can I say. Hope this helps. |
