Tummy spots? I have a 13 yr old female yorkie that all of a sudden she has some black spots on her tummy. One is very close to her pee area and it has started to bleed. Not sure what in the world would cause this...? Any suggestions would be great...will be taking her to the vet soon. But I thought I would try to figure it out on my own. Thanks |
could it be a fungus? check out www.dermagic.com if you call the # a rep. will be able to help you to determine if it is something that they can help you with. Good luck! |
Barney gets black spots on his belly and near his pee area too. We usually get them in the spring during allergy season. He has been diagnosed by our vet as having a staph infection that is a result of these allergies. We treat him with antibiotics when he gets it, and it clears right up. Your vet will know if the black spots your baby has could be the same thing as my Barney gets. I would not use any products or shampoos to treat anything until a vet takes a look just to be sure you are doing the correct thing for your dog. |
