How Do You Bathe Your Yorkie On Vacation? We are on vacation and I struggled giving Piccolo a bath yesterday. I used a pitcher and the bathtub, by the way. How do you do this? Would love to hear your suggestions or stories. Thanks! |
If a tub was available, I'd use that. That's usually how I do it at home. But with only a shower, I use a sink and just fit as much of her in it as I can. lol |
I use the tub or the sink |
I purchased a portable shower spray that you can attach to the tub faucet some years ago for Muffin when we traveled. I just took it with us when we went on vacation.:) |

Some towns have those places where you can take your dog and bathe it yourself. Check in the phone book or at the front desk. |
I'll share with you what exhibitors use. There are attachments you can buy from PedEdge or other Pet Supply companies. You can either attach them to the shower head or the bathroom sink. |

You fold it down to slip onto the sink - that part is the narrower part of the hose. If you want to put it on the tub faucet, you don't fold it, because that part is bigger. |
Here is an example..they are also other kinds... Rinse ACE Indoor/Outdoor Pet Sprayer - Grooming - Dog - PetSmart |

I'm sorry, but this just cracked me up!!! :D:D I'm picturing mine with her butt hanging out of the sink, hahaha |
I'd love to find one that goes over the tub faucet. I use a large plastic cup to pour and pour and pour over their bodies until I rinse out the shampoo. (it takes forever) A small shower head would make it so much easier. |
Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Love the pet sprayer idea. It doesn't look too expensive either. :) |
