Quinoa/MIllet?? can you substitue Qunioa for Millet? |
I believe so but you can join k9kitchen@yahoogroups.com and ask them as that is a dog nutritionist group I am on |

thank you, |
I don't see why you couldn't. The only slight difference is the Quinoa has 10 calories more per 1/4 cup and 1g more total fat. Just keep in mind that the Millet takes 30 minutes to cook and the Quinoa takes 10-15. |
Is this a homecooked, already balanced recipe? The short answer is probably, but the nutritionist who formulated the recipe can tell you for sure. |

they are from recipes I found on this site under this topic. Most call for Millet but I have Quonia at home. It seems as though they are similar so was hoping I could just swap it out with any required adjustments. |
They are both a good source of fiber and protein and very good for everyone including the pupsters. I use both of these for my girls. |
