Question about Chew Bones? I'm sure this has been asked before..but..Lucy loves chew bones..I recently read that Pig ears and that sort of thing are bad for little dogs. Now I don't know what to give her to chew on. She doesn't really chew on her toys or anything. Any suggestions? We don't really have any pet stores around town..just a wal mart. Thanks so much! |
Bully Sticks are really popular and alot better than pigs ears. "Baxtersmommy" here on YT sells the bully sticks and they're really great! I sell himalayan chews which are very hard cheese and will take your lil one a long time to chew it down. We both have threads started in the for sale section. |

These are the two chews I give my pups and they LOVE them. I order my bullies from Dana (Baxtersmommy) and my H-chews from Ryan (RDB911). I've placed multiple orders with them both and they are awesome vendors with the best prices! |
What about the cet chews? Has anybody tried those? I was thinking about giving those a try. |
Okay, Thanks! What are the cet chews? |
Thanks Ryan & Bonnie! Yep, Bully Sticks are loved by our babies. You can't go wrong with Bullys and Himalayan Chews. Your dog will love them. Ryan is probably the fastest shipper ever. LOL |
I give my babies Merrick Cow Ears. They are natural and easy to digest and not messy. I order them on Amazon.com by the case. They are individually wrapped. I just ordered my second case yesterday. I also give them porkchop chews that you get at petsmart. Easier to digest than rawhide. They are made with baked porkskin. At Walmart you can get a granola looking bar chew that lasts a really long time. I think it is make by Purina. |

We love Ryan's Himalayan chews (need to order soon) and Merrick Wishbones (beef tendon) and Merrick Texas Toothpicks (beef tail). The first two are long lasting. My boys have learned how to gobble up the toothpicks, so I have to supervise closely to take the chew away before it gets small enough to become a choking hazard. However, the tooth cleaning action of the toothpick is worth it to me. |

Formualted by a vet, they are 100% safe and healthy for my babies! and they LOVE them! They are completely digestible. Plus they are VERY inexpensive. I get 5 bones for $4. I give them these all the time, because they are safe. Now for a "treat" type chew I buy buly sticks for them and if you want the BEST prices on those you can get them from bestbullys.com Really good pricing and even some deals on free shipping.:thumbup::thumbup: |
Okay, Thanks for all the help yall! Its really hard to find things that are good for Lucy and won't hurt her! It seems like everytime I think I'm doing good..I find out something bad about what I just gave her. But I'm sure everybody has gone through that with theirs! |
Chew Bones I give mine C.E.T. bones and they love them. I get them at the vet or get something very similar at PetsMart. The vet said the C.E.T. bones are made so they don't grow bacteria or something like that. Mine don't last long enough for bacteria to grow though. |
