Keyword there, estimate. I hope this chart helps. Yorkshire Terrier - Yorkie Puppy Growth/Weight Chart - watch us grow |
Puppy weight I have two female yorkies, 17 months and 18 weeks. I adopted my first baby at 8 weeks and she charted the correct size according to the chart. She is now 3 lbs. My second baby did not follow the chart at all, but I think it was because she had giardia and ringworm. I adopted her at 10 weeks at 8 oz. By the chart, she shouldn't reach 1.5 lbs. I guess the medications killed the worms because at 18 weeks she is now 2 lbs 4.5 oz and still growing like a weed. Both are beautiful, healthy babies and I love them to death. If the second one was healthy when I got her, she should have charted correctly. Good luck with your baby. |

thanks everyone she very healthy but i dont get how to read the chart? what are the numbers in the middle? |
Ok, at the top where it says "birth" find your baby's weight at birth. Anything to the right of "birth" is birth weights. Now that you have it, scroll down to see what their weight is at a week, two weeks, three, four, and on. All the weights are in oz except for the very bottom numbers. Those are estimates for the adult weight your baby might be and they are in lbs. |
