thank you so much! I know y'all understand. The love I got from that pup was so magical, I totally get it now, Yorkies are truly the best friends in the world. I don't feel so alone to know I can come here and get help and love. When I am ready, I will absolutely come here for help! My mom has a great veterniarian and she said she will ask her too so we can find a great, caring breeder who won't scam me. This is just the worst kind of scam, cause I don't care that I'm out whatever $, I care that I gave my heart to this poor little thing and she was doomed from the start. I really feel cheated. |

The good thing is that there are really great breeders out there, you just have to weed through all the bad to get to the good. Plus you've stumbled across one of the best resources there is. When you're ready, check the "For Sale" forum. At the top are a few threads that buyers really should read to protect themselves from people that you've unfortunately met. You will have magic back in your life. Trust me, you will. |

Please report this breeder to your local animal control to have her kennel inspected. Also, you can file a complaint with the Texas Attorney General's Office, Consumer Protection. Although Texas does not have specific "puppy lemon laws", you are protected under the The Texas Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act. |
y'all really are such a great group, I cannot believe the support. It is really helping me right now as I sit at my house with everything reminding me of her. I have contacted my local SPCA as well as Animal Control. They have told me there's not much they can do. SPCA said it's "not illegal to sell sick puppies" and Animal Control said that since it's a kennel, it's not uncommon for this situation to happen but they said they will make sure she is functioning legally and if not they will be able to do something. Hopefully she has something amiss over there. I didn't even really understand that she was running a kennel until all this was said and done. It seems odd to me to raise baby puppies in a kennel environment but maybe that's just me. |
I am so very sorry, my heart is broken for you:( What this breeder did is so wrong and she needs to be exposed for her disgusting practices. Please file a report as Ladymom recommended. Also, you might want to file a report with Rip-off Report, others need to know about this greeder so they are not subjected to the very same heartache you have been. |
Awe, seeing everybody's pics of their beautiful babies reminds me of what I was most excited about, waiting to see the evolution of her coat! I'll be okay with time, everything happens for a reason. Maybe I can help expose this greeder, and when the time is right, find another perfect pup that can bring me the joy that she did. |
I am so sorry for your loss. |
Oh, I'm so sorry about your little puppy. That is just heartbreaking. I hope action is taken against this breeder if that is what is necessary. I would hate for others to share the same heartbreak that you have gone through. Take your time; find the right breeder; and I hope you find another little dog you can love. |
I'm so sorry for your loss. Words fail me. |
I am so sorry for your loss. If you are comfortable, you should mention the breeders name. You could do it in the Breeders Review. This information will be available for the next person who tries to get a dog from them and your heartache will save another persons heartache. Not to mention maybe put them out of business. Just my 2 cents. Again so sorry, and I hope that one day (when you are ready) you can love another yorkie. They are the best. |
Gosh, I am so sorry to hear about your puppy! One recommendation I would make to all puppy owners is when you have a sick puppy, especially a very young puppy, don't try home remedies, get them to the vet ASAP! Puppies can go downhill incredibly fast. I realize you didn't know to get her to the vet sooner, and I'm not trying to make you feel bad, but it is way better to be safe than sorry. |
I am so sorry. That is horrible. This woman definitely should be reported, if not by you, then by your vet. I hope that you post the name of the breeder to warn other buyers. |
Sorry for your loss |
Stormy was fortunate to have spent her time with you. You will love another Yorkie someday. |
