Pets'BestRx Ringworm for Dogs??? Does anyone know if this works? It says that it will clear up ringworm in dogs in 3 to 5 days, no problem, or 30 day money back guarantee. It sounds too good to be true. I recently purchased a puppy with giardia and ringworm and she has given two other dogs giardia, three other dogs and at least two people ringworm. We are trying everything to keep all the germs at bay. I'm going crazy. The vet did prescribe meds for the baby, but my other dogs haven't gone to the vet yet, but are scheduled Monday. The baby is in quarantine and the vet said she should be there for at least two months... Not good!!! I go tomorrow to the doctor because my outbreaks are growing. I've had her almost six weeks, but found out a little over a week ago she had ringworm. I should have know she had it when I picked her up, but the breeder convinced me otherwise. Any help would be appreciated. |
It works Ringworm came in to my house several years ago with a foster puppy. The puppy had been exposed while staying overnight at another foster home before coming to me. By the time it was all said and done, he had something like 17 lesions on his 6 month old little body and an adult male foster dog ended up with one or two. Not one of my dogs (I had 4 at the time) developed a lesion. All mine are raw fed and I bathed and treat them with PetsBestRx Ringworm Treatment Super Pack for small Breed Dogs from Q-based Solutions when I saw the first lesions on the puppy. . I wouldn't use it for ringworm if I was in your situation. Because ring worm is SO infectious (as you've already seen), I'd treat using what vet recommends - which is usually Ketoconazole or Diflucan daily x 6 weeks (pill, by mouth). They may also recommend some prescriptive creams and washes. I prefer the pills over topical bc what about the areas you can't see/miss? |
Never had ringworm Hi, we have never had a dog with ringworm, so I can't tell you if it works on it. But we have used PetsbestRX Infection protection gel to put on any little red spot on our two yorkies whole bodies. We have used it for over 9 years. We had been using it between their toes too, the redness goes away quickly. But it never stopped them from licking. We now use Infection protection gel for their tummies or what we call heat rash Iour youngest Tuppy is allergic to life I guess..)and it soothes it. I will now be using the more gentle ointment Dermapaw. It is so soothing that it stops the licking immedietly. (But will also keep using the infection protection gel.) Check out the Dermapaw website and I pray you will get the help you need, I would take your baby to the vet for ringworm.
