It will end in time, your baby is still young. Keep taking Ziggy for rides and bring plenty of baby wipes. Later Ziggy will have no more accidents and you'll be so proud! ;) |
Yes, we have from vet Cerenia too. Have not tried it yet as have to give 2 hrs before we leave. I talked to vet about Dramamine. Well the liquid is no longer on market but the vet can have it made into liquid. Its costly but it works. The vet ordered in and told us how much to give. I am hoping Penny out grows the car sickness. We try to take her wherever we go, she loves going so cross our fingers. |
my Pixie use to get car sick so we got her a car seat where she can look out the window and we started by taking her for short rides no more than a 10-15 min ride every day. Now she never gets car sick and even gets excited to go for a car ride! |
My little guy gets car sick when he isn't sitting in a very stable way (like on someones lap). So we put in in his little carrier bag but leave it open. Since then he has been doing fine. I hope that helps Nicole and Tanner:animal-pa |
Car sickness is a challenge My little Deuce got carsick on short trips on and off so I was concerned when we were going to pick my daughter up from college. I read on here to a 1/4 tab of Bonine - available over the counter in drugstores. I put it in a little piece of cheese and it worked perfectly for a 9 hour trip. I did not feed him in the AM but I gave him some biscuits and water during the trip. I now have a snoozer carseat to try to see how we can do without the meds. I don't want to rely on the meds. Good luck to you. I'm sure once you think you have the solution everything will change. M |
