Fromm's Surf n Turf **OR** NV's Instinct Duck & Turkey? What would you feed to a yorkie puppy of 4 months? |
Both are good. I would see which one my pup liked the most. |

I have never personally fed the NV though, so I dont know about the kibble size... the FROMM Surf and Turf is super tiny so that may be good for a puppy... but I would try and get a sample bag of each and see which one your little one likes. |
I feed Fromm's Surf & Turf to my crew here and they are doing great on it. When Nikki got here his coat was dry and felt course but now it is soft and shiney. I think Megan had allergies to grains but since switching her over to Fromm's she has had no issues at all and she looks healthier...her eyes are shiney and she has more energy...no more licking her feet or scratching her ears either! |
I fed NV Instinct to my babies when they were that age, and everyone loved it. Fromm's is also an excellent food. Is Fromm's an ALS food? If so, why not feed both? Buy a small bag of one and then rotate to the other when it's time for a new bag? :) My babies love my rotating their foods - it keeps them from getting bored with just one food. :) |
Thank you everyone for responding :D. Bonbon, I was wondering how big the kibbles are, I am worried they might be really big. Do you know if they're bigger than the orijen or acana grain-free kibble? |
The Fromm kibble is small. The different formulas all vary a little in size, but they are all small. We got samples of all of them. I think the Surf & Turf was actually the smallest of all of them. |
NV kibble is smaller then Orijen and Acana... But it's larger then fromm. The rabbit flavor is really dark, my little 4 lber has no issues eating it. We're having a pretty big sale on Instinct, but I know shipping will be outrageous to Canada. |
