Really warm to the touch I just went to go pet and play with Lolli a bit and she seems very warm to the touch. She's very active and playful, eating and drinking like normal and everything. Is this normal? She doesn't normally feel this warm and we haven't done much activity yet. She's never felt this warm to me before, it could be my imagination.. |
Given a dog's normal temp ranges around 102...they will always feel warmer to you. To ease your mind...you could take her temperature. |
Well I don't have a thermometer to do that right at the moment. I mean I already know they feel warm to us naturally. That's why I said she feels warmer than she normally does. I just thought maybe if there was a fever there would be other symptoms to note or something. She seems just fine otherwise so it's hard to know. |
I always worry about this since a dog's normal temp is around 100-102 and MY normal temp is around 97 Soph always feels really warm to me so I'm afraid I won't notice if she has a fever. And for some reason she's just not into me taking her temperature four or five times a day because I'm a worrywart. |
Haha, yeah. Well she had recently been sick with some tummy issues but hasn't had any issues for a while now. So that's why I am trying to figure if maybe there are other signs to fever, because there's been a lot of ups and downs when she was sick. But she's been fine and no same symptoms from her sickness before are at all in sight. |
