Help!! Ear Infection I think my Paris has an ear infection, and thats not my dilema, in my area her vet and all the others are booked for tomorrow, the only one with an opening is BANFIELD:mad:...and im so apprehensive because of all the lousy reviews i've read. I dont want her to be in pain for days till my regular vet is available. So should i bite the bullet and take her to Banfield or wait? What would you fellow owners do? |
Bite the bullet. Let then do an ear swab, throw it under the scope, and give her something that will eradicate the fungal, or bacterial infection. Usually you have a f/u visit, so you can see your vet then. Good luck |
So sorry your lil one not feeling well.... Do you have a good repore with your vet? cause if you been using them the whole time with your lil one, I would think they would fit her in...When I think something is up with mine, I dont get off the phone till they find me a spot...even if I have to tell receptionist, to have Dr. call me...the vet ALAWYS fits them in... Good luck hope you can get it...and Paris feels better |

I just went through this with Lady. I called and my regular vet was completely booked for the next day, so they just told me to swab her ear with a Q-tip and bring it in. The vet tech did the culture and I was able to get the prescription immediately. Of course, I am an established client and my vet sees Lady on a regular basis so she was comfortable doing this. |
