Any vet recommendations in the Denver area? Hello everyone! I was just wondering if anyone in the Denver area wants to recommend their vet. We started off going to Banfield in the PetSmart stores, but I kept hearing bad things about them, so we switched. The vet we are taking Rex to now made me cry last time we were there (long story), so we will not be going there anymore, either. In the past, Rex has had a very low red and white blood cell count, so both vets we had taken him to recommended we wait until he was a bit older (and weighed more) to get him neutered. He will be 2 years old in December, so I really want to find a reputable vet that won't overcharge us to get more bloodwork done to see if he can be cleared for the surgery. He also needs to have (I think) 4 of his baby teeth pulled. I brush his teeth twice a week, so there isn't any decay, but I know these need to be pulled. Ideally, I would like to have him neutered, have the teeth pulled, and have him microchipped at the same time. Long story short, will someone please refer me to their gentle, caring veterinarian? Thank you in advance! Kerry and Rex :aimeeyork |

Hi and welcome to YT!! We live in Grand Junction, CO but have taken Toto to Alameda East to have testing done and just a general going over. They are wonderful there ... some of the most caring, competent vets I have ever met! Good luck with Rex and do keep us updated! ;) |
