a good diet for sensituve stomach what r some good foods, brands to feed every day for a sensitive stomach just switched to Pro Plan Natural Turkey & Barley / Score 103 A+..slowly of course..had a sensitive stomach before..just started switching last week and im sure that will have his tummy upset but i was wondering if i should keep trying this one or another one thank you |
I dont really like Pro Plan foods. I would try something with Lamb or Duck as a single protein source. Like FROMM Duck and Sweet Potato or California Natural Lamb and Rice (this one comes in small bites variety) |
Were you looking for something that you can get at the grocery store, pet store, or are you also considering prescripton food? Was the problem vomiting, diarrhea, tummy noises, or? If it's an insensitivity, you'll probably have to go with something novel. |
something either the store or pet store some occasional vomiting edited to add he eats well and is chunky |
try a fish based food with limited ingredients |
California Natural Lamb and Rice is what we feed our pup - she will be 3 years old in July. We had problems with vomiting the first year we had her and it took forever to try new foods because you have introduce them so slowly. After trying many different foods and 2 prescription foods from our vet we went out on our own to search for something that would work. She has done really well with the California Natural Lamb and Rice. In the beginning I used to add just a dab plain yogurt to her food, but we don't do that anymore. I also give her a little bit of carrot (cut up really good) every day. |
