A black "sack" hanging from his tooth? please help! Okay, so my little hammer is just under 6 months old. A few weeks ago we had a black "sack" hanging off of one teeth on the bottom from. We took him to the groomer and all of a sudden it was gone. His breath was CONSTANTLY smelling! The groomer never said anything about it (she was gone by the time we went to pick him up @ Petco.) A few weeks have gone by and his breath was finally smelling good. (Even after we would brush him, he still smelled when that thing was in there.) NOW, i noticed in that same spot that his gum is like a grayish color and his breath REEKS again. What could this be? The black sack never bothered him, he didnt even know it was there. And this doesnt seem to bother him either. He is eating normally and acting normal. Please help?!? Any ideas?! |

I would have him seen by a vet. There could be some kind of infection in his mouth and you really want to get that cleared up as soon as possible. |
He wont sit still long enough.. ill try and take a picture right now =) If its a fungus, how would you get rid of it (besides the obvious vet trip). Any at home remedies? |

1 Attachment(s) Does he have retaining baby teeth? Jackson had a fungus looking thing stuck in between his baby canine and adult canine before the teeth were removed. It looked like your baby's (from what I can see). Usually retained baby teeth are removed during the neuter. See how he had the 2 teeth together, you can sort of see the fungus looking stuff. It went away once baby teeth were removed. |
