I was told that you rub Karo syrup on their gums until they start moving around then try to feed them some canned dog food. She told me to always have a couple of cans on hand just in case this happens. Good luck. |
I was told to always have a tube of Nutri-Cal if my yorkie's gums turn white and yorkie has low blood sugar. I got mine at Pet Valu. Rub the Nutri-Cal inside on the top of the mouth. I am not sure if it is available for you, but karo syrup is good too but if you don't have it then honey can be used. Yorkie's are prone to hypoglycemia so be careful. |

So he perked up with the sugar? Have you tried feeding him anything with protein yet? If you have tried all of that and it has been more than 30 minutes or so, I don't think waiting with white gums is good. |
