Tripaws Does anyone else have a 3-legged Yorkie? I adopted a special needs puppy the end of January 2010 who was born with a crippled front leg. The rescue group had it amputated so he could learn to walk. Now he runs and plays and loves life. I'm looking for a pattern to make a special vest to protect his shoulder. I'm also wondering about joint supplements when he's old enough. If there are any other tripaws Yorkies, maybe we could compare notes. |
I can't help with a pattern or anything, but I wanted to let you know I admire you for adopting this little special needs guy. I am sure he has brought more to your life than you could ever imagine. You are a special person!!! |
I too admire you for taking in a special needs baby. I am wondering if you could just alter a regular pattern by sewing closed and possibly reinforcing the arm/leg hole for added support. That is, if I understood your question correctly. I re read your question, I am slow today, but my daughter is making some clothes for my dogs, and she found the patterns in a regular sewing pattern book through school. |
