Taste of the Wild Dog Food Hi everyone. I am new here. I have a 17 week old Yorkie named Chloe. She is the light of our lives along with our four human daughters! She started out on Nature's Recipe canned dog food. The breeder suggested I switch her over to Nature's Recipe kibble at home. She was 12 weeks old when we brought her home. We did the Nature's Recipe Kibble and it was a no go - she refused to eat it. So, our vet reccomended starting off with BilJac - it is easier to break and is in pellet form. She loved it! I am very picky about giving my dogs grain or corn in any of their dog foods so I switched her to Taste of the Wild Dog Food (a 6 star dog food on dogfooldanalysis.com). The formula I feed Chloe is the wetlands formula which contains duck, quail and turkey as meat sources. It is grain free. My only concern is that it is all life stages, but our vet has told us that if it can claim that it is safe for puppies it is. Now I am wondering if any of you have tried any of their formulas. Our bulldog used the Pacific Stream formula with salmon and sweet potatoe for his allergies and skin issues. |
