Little Toothbrushes for Yorkies
 
I have a toothbrush for Muffy, but I have the hardest time brushing her teeth with it cause it's bigger than the inside of her mouth pretty much!
For those of you that brush your yorkie's teeth .. what brand do you use?:)

Pet stores carry brushes specifically for pets. To be honest...you don't need a brush...your finger will do and it's much simpler

I started using an electic toothbrush for Joey, it's has a really small head, and I think it does a better job than the manual toothbrushing I was using. Amazon.com: Conair Interplak Rotary Toothbrush -...Amazon.com: Conair Interplak Rotary Toothbrush -... I got mine at Target, it's comes with 3 heads, and it's only about $16.00

I was wondering if they would use an electric toothbrush. I am going to try this tonight. Hopefully I don't freak my girls out. I've been using a cat toothbrush up until now. If the electric works, I'd rather use that. I'm sure that it would do a better job.

I just bought the disposable finger toothbrush gloves.
plastic gloves and on the thumb and finger they have little
rough bristles so you can get a little scrub going. Petsmart
had them when I was looking for toothbrush. Seem to work
good...more likely it's that Ted loves his toothpaste.

I couldn't find a toothbrush small enough for Bailey's mouth, so I wrap a thin cotton cloth around my finger and brush his teeth that way, so much easier!

Great I will be picking one up tomorrow! My lil one is teething and apparently this causes horrid breath..uggggh its bad..lol My vet said its normal while new teeth are coming in and to get a denta bone but its not working, and if she goes in for a kiss the last couple days i'm gagging..:p

I use that also. I cut off the index finger (with the little bristles) which allowed me to use it on my left or right hand. Great product.

I use either a baby's toothbrush or one of those little finger stalls, like a rubber thimble with little bristles on it.
I get them from the pet shop.

Baby brushes you can buy anywhere that sell adult ones.
No good me naming brands or shops as yours are mostly different to ours over here.

I have read on here that someone uses those disposable mascara brushes. They are just the right size to get in their little mouths. I haven't tried it though. I have to look when I go to my local drug store.

You could buy one of the smaller toothbrush meant for child. :)

When I had braces I had these little brushes to use on them. They were small and work good too.:)

I found a little bitty disposable toothbrush that has a little hard toothpast pearl in the middle of it. They come in like three in a pack for carrying in your purse. I just popped out the pearl and use the brush. It's tiny and it doesn't bother Sadie (too much).

I use these too, they are a perfect size they also hold the doggy toothpaste really well.:)
