Apple Cider Vinegar question I would like to start using Apple Cider Vinegar for my dogs but I don't know how much to use. I use the automatic food and water containers...the water container holds 1 gallon of water. How much ACV should I put in that much water? |
A tablespoon in a gallon. Also you want to use unpasteurized apple cider vinegar which can be found at health food stores. The heat from pasteurization kills the healthy benefits |
What's the ACV for? |
It eliminates staining. |
Oooo - Thanks! |
Thank you! |
I been using it for more than a month now, in a full bowl of water I put a cap of acv , my dogs love it and is working wonders:thumbup: |
Prevents staining on what? |
eye goop & staining |
I wanted to start using it because it helps keep their teeth clean...however...it also has other benefits like it helps with tear staining and watery/goopy eyes along with many more. It can establish the correct PH in your dog's system which means your dog will be less likely to be bothered by fleas, ticks and other external parasites and it can help with artheritis and allergies too. |
Wow thank you for the info, I shall start using ACV :) |
I use about a teaspoon per cup of water. My dogs now LOVE it and will prefer the acv water over the regular water. They are so funny. I also have spray bottle filled with equal parts of water and acv and I try to spray the babies hair everyday (some days I forget) but I have noticed a big difference. I highly recommend it! I also read that using the spray keeps away fleas, ticks, etc. :D |
