Poop Eater I cannot believe this...as I was getting ready to clean up Maggie's poop..I turn my back and it was gone!!! She ate the whole thing!!! Now I have another London who was a poop eater..for the most part London has stopped that but she still does it occasionally. I can't believe i have 2 poop eaters now!! I know it has something to do with where they were raised in the first 2 months:thumbdown |
That is just so disgusting. I hope you can break them from this habit. |
I would try the pineapple trick to see if it helps (feed them pineapple, suppossed to make their poops taste horrible. Or, I hear if you put tobassco on their poop, they will lick it and never eat it again! Good Luck!! Snick & Viv |
my rex is a poop eater too! i gave him some pineapple and it seemed to work for a bit but i have to keep giving it to him because now he is starting to eat it again! his nick name is poopy face |

pineapple works cut up into tiny pieces put on cookie sheet and freeze then keep in a small baggie in freezer - pull out for week then give a piece with each meal as pineapple is a natural enzyme so it breaks the food down better so they will not want to eat it and hopefully after a few months of doing it they will break the habit if they start again start back with pineapple |

Pixie is a poop eater too. Not every time but sometimes and she runs around with the tird in her mouth and I try to catch her so she doesn't eat it and she just thinks it is the greatest game! lol |
Sorry you have a poopy eater...Actually, I just got one myself ...I've never had a poopy eater :(...However, I started feeding Buzz a bit more food, and he doesn't seem to want to get to the poop so quickly...But, he has also started putting on some extra weight, so I'm not sure about giving him more food, to stop him from eating poop...For now, since it's so cold, and he's a growing boy, I'm going to give him a little extra food, but, in the Spring, if he keeps gaining weight, I'll have to cut down the food, and try the pineapple trick...Never heard of that, but I'll sure resort to that, if need be...Good luck, and try feeding a little more, if you think this might help.... |
OMG do lots of yorkies do this?? Gross!! |
