how much do you feed your babies? I am always worried I am either giving my babies to much food or not enough. When I read the labels they all seem to say something different. I give Rebel- 6 months old and 5 lbs 10 oz about 1/4 to 1/3 cup of dry and wet food mixed per day. Miracle 7 lbs 8 oz she gets about 1/3 cup twice a day of just wet food. They eat once in the morning around 6:00 - 6:30 am and then again in the evening at around 6:30 pm. They are maintaining their weight and everything seems fine, I am just curious. The previous owners said when they had Miracle she only weighed 4 lbs. We have had her since the end of June and when we got her she weighed about 8 lbs and was pregnant with two babies. We loss one but kept the boy. |
Not sure really.... Tatum is free fed and eats dry so we just fill her bowl whenever it's empty. Whoever see it fills it so between the 4 of us, not sure who fills it when. But I know she doesn't overeat and her weight is consistent so I guess she knows what she's doing. ;) |
I feed my dogs 4 times a day at 7, 12, 5 and 10. At each feeding they get 1/8 cup (a coffee scoop) dry food. That's about 1/2 cup a day. Moka gets Wellness small breed kibble, and Mylee gets Wellness puppy kibble. Then I use kong toys with treats or chew sticks throughout the day to keep them busy. |
Daisy was born 6/9/09 and weighs 3.1 lbs. She has dry food down all the time, and usually eats around 1/3 cup a day.:twocents: |
