stella and chewy's freeze dried food While picking up our dog food in our local pet store I noticed a new display of freeze dried food called stellaandchewys.com...does anyone feed their yorkies this or any opinions on this food? |
Lately, I have been rotating brands of raw and I have tried Stella and Chewy's. My boy Jimi seems to love it, but I haven't seen him turn down raw in any form yet. ;) |
I don't feed pre-made raw but if I did I would definitely rotate with Stella and Chewy's! It's a great company with great products. One thing.. I don't know about S&C's freeze-dried product but I know that Nature's Variety's freeze-dried is meant for supplemental or intermittent feeding only. You might look into that before you decide to purchase/feed it. |

I feed Sushi Stella&Chewy's and he loves...according to their website, the food is complete and balanced and can be fed regularly....I crumble it on his kibble. He's very picky with kibble and adding this makes him want to finish his food. I've tried the chicken and lamb and he loves both of them...his poop is tiny, firm and virtually odorless now... |

I have finally settled on Halo's Chicken stew as my kibble...I mix 1/4 cup with 1/2 a patty Stella & chewy's crumbled in, twice a day. I've decided that Halo has the best wholesome ingredients with real chicken meat, vegetables and probiotics.... I was on search for the best food for several months and tried several brands of high quality kibble (Acana, Natural Balance, Fromm, Nature's Variety, etc)....he was pooping too much and too soft. |

Anyway, thanks for sharing your food experiences with me. The hunt for the "perfect" food is certainly a long one. |
