food allergies (ecoli) :animal36 I have had all kinds of test run on my 5 year old male (07/08). His results was positive for ecoli.(my vet said he did not have ecoli). He's been on a high-end dog food all of his life. He lost from 5lb to 2.4. We kept him alive with nutri-cal, kaopectate, and fortiflora, but he was still melting away. I recently aquired some venison and sweet potatoes for him. Within 2 weeks all of his symptoms have gone away and he weighs 4 lbs. That was the best xmas presant. Hope this can help someone. I am going to try a grain free diet. 12/09 |
