Eye Boogies ? Zoey seems to get those eye boogies all the time. I'm always have to clean her face and comb out her hair around the eyes. Is this normal? |
It could be from a variety of things - allergies, the food she's eating, some dogs just have it more than others. I've heard of adding vinegar to their water, or buying drinkable distilled water for them, they also have a product called Angel Eyes that I've heard people have used with great results. Jackson had terrible eye boogers while eating Wellness dog food and once we switched to Nature's Variety (grainfree), they all went away! |
ohhhh wow.....i never thought about it being her food.....I wouldnt even know what to switch to. She gets bottled water only, and I have notices certain things will make her sneeze. Thanks for the reply =] |
What is she eating right now? |
purina puppy chow. Its what the breader was using and i didnt wanna switch and make her belly upset. I dont really have alot of options where I live. I have a walmart and a vet lol. |

Rachael Rays food is better than Purina if you can't find anything else but where in Ohio are you from. I grew up and spent most of my life in Michigan and Ohio is a pretty populated state so I am surprised there is not more options for you. The vinegar has to be organic if you do that but you need to do your homework before you start throwing things in their water...you can do a search here on YT using vinegar. Here is also a website for you to look at the quality of dog food you are using. The Dog Food Project - How does your Dog Food Brand compare? |
aww thank you =] I'm in the most sourthern part of ohio. As far south in ohio as you can get. I could prolly drive to huntington wv, or even ashland and find something there. From what im aware of we just dont have alot here as far as speciality stores. I will look and see what I can find. I feel horrbile knowing shes not getting good food =[ |

Purina, along with all the other pet food found in the grocery store, is garbage - literally. It is made with the waste from the human food industry, the not-fit-for-human consumption grains and slaughterhouse waste. Every pet owner should read this article from the Animal Protection Institute: What’s Really in Pet Food If you can't find any good quality food locally, you might want to try Pet Food Direct. Their prices are lower than pet stores and they run sales constantly which will offset the shipping costs. http://www.petfooddirect.com/store/d...-Header-_-Logo |
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH. I'm looking online now. |
