Nv raw and bad breath We have just started feeding nv raw lamb medallions and are poor boys breath is just horrible. Has anyone else have this problem. |
How old is he? |
Funny you should post this...I have noticed this as well with my two. I have been feeding the NV raw for about 6 months. My female is almost two and my male is one next month. Any thoughts would be appreciated!!:) |
He is 7 months |
This is strange, as we have experienced the opposite, since starting raw;Apple's breath is better...However, she hasn't had the lamb, because she didn't care for lamb kibble, so I haven't given that one to her...She's only had beef & chicken...As soon as she finishes this bag of chicken, we have a new bag of Duck...Come to think of it, my mother used to make leg of lamb for Sunday dinner, and I never really cared for it...I guess Apple takes after me :p |
Any retained baby teeth left in their mouths? That is a huge and common culprit of horrible breathe. Snick had HORRID morning before his babby tooth was removed. His day breathe was "OK" but after we got that last baby tooth removed a week a half ago..I feel like I could kiss him on the lips his breathe is so sweet. He is on Primal Raw. -Snick & Viv |
Thanks for the response he is having his baby teeth removed today |
