Feeding 2.3 oz. of raw food The feeding calculator says Apple should have 2.3 oz. per day...I'm having trouble thinking about trying to cut 1/3 of a medallion and then cutting that piece in 1/2 between two meals ...I know I'm being ridiculous, but if anyone else has had this dilemma, what did you do lol...Right now I'm just giving 2 medallions a day, and then some cut up steamed veges (carrots or green beans) in between and for treats... p.s...plz don't tell me to "get a life", because Apple is my life :D |

If it were me, I'd probably feed 2.5 - which means, I'd feed 1 1/4 medallion per meal. I don't like 1/3rds when it comes to medallions... |
Ann...if we ever have a best responder or best supporter award on this site, you'd be the winner!!! No matter how absurd the question seems, you always support us w/an answer or response :) And you know what, I think your answer makes good sense...I can deal w/the half thing, better than the third thing lol...If she seems to start gaining weight, I'll cut out the extra 1/2 and go back on more green beans...thanks :D p.s...Apple just gave you a high five :animal36 |

raw food How much doea apple weigh? Where did you see a food calulator? My biewer is 17 weeks old and weighs 2.14. Lbs. How much should I be feeding? I give Priscilla 1 medallion plus all the nv instinct she wants, which isn,t much, she will only eat a couple of bites of the kibble but O, how she loves those medallions, like a piggy. |

http://www.naturesvariety.com/feedguide I put out kibble for a few days, after I started raw, but she told me not to waste my money, she only wanted raw...And when Apple speaks, I listen ;) |

I am so glad I switch my dogs to raw meat. It make meal time so much more special for me and for them. I like to hand feed them and do some training in the same time. Make them do a trick for a piece of turkey wigs... I feed some NV but mostly organic meat for the local farmer market. Tom Pouce that always been so tiny at 3.8lbs is now up to 4.3 lbs.:D One of their favorite is fresh chicken hearts and gizzards. It cost very little and they go crazy for those. I feed it to them 1-2 a week. :) |
