Anyone ever try Stella & Chewy's food? I was given a sample of a beef dinner patty and Molly really liked it. So I bought a bag of the Chicken and a bag of Beef. So far so good!!! I tried The Honest Kitchen and she liked it for about 2 wks. then would only eat it if I but meat in it.. I have created a Monster!!!! But was just wondering if anyone else had tried this brand of food. Diana And Molly |
It's not convenient for us to get here, but it's probably what I'd feed if it was - such a great food, and the brand has a great reputation. :) |
Ann, I don't know where you live in Phoenix but you might want to double check their website for locations that sell this dog food... Stella & Chewy's - Where to buy |
Stella and chewy's I have been really lucky.. They opened a natural and raw food store not far from my house.. For anyone that lives in the SW suburbs of Chicago .. Its in Willowbrook and called ( Zoey's Eats & Treatz) Their number is 630-850-9639 Great people and willing to help in any way... I also have a friend that just moved to Richmond Va. And opened a store called Ginger's Eatz & Treatz .. They are at 3426 Pump Rd. 804-364-4647 if your in the area check them out... Tell them Diana and Molly sent you! |
I was just getting on here to post this same question. I also received a sample today when I bought my raw and am curious about it. Anyone feed freeze dried? Why would you choose freeze dried over raw...besides less mess. If you feed freeze dried do you sprinkle it over kibble or wet it? I am brand new to feeding raw and am just looking at everything. LOL |
I feed a rotation of dehydrated raw as well as prey model raw. My rotation includes Wysong Archetype and Stella and Chewy's as well as ZiwiPeak. I make sure that these foods are familiar and that Brody will eat them since they are so convenient to feed if we are traveling, he has to be boarded, etc. I always feed the Archetype or the Stella and Chewy's dry. Just crumble them up and he eats them right up. You can rehydrate them if you want (put in a baggie with a little warm water and it turns into a stew). But feeding dry is easy and convenient for us. Our routine is the dry dehydrated raw in the a.m. and then prey model raw in the p.m. (usually raw cornish hen parts or pork, or a little beef). |
