Eyes Watering and spasmodic coughing? My baby's eyes have been watering alot since his last bath. Can anyone shed a little light on this for me? Also, I don't know if it is reverse sneezing or what, but he sounds like a goose at times and I don't know if this is breathing out or breathing in. This has been going on for a couple of months now. The wierd thing is that my female doesn't experience these spasmodic episodes. Should I make a trip to the vet? |
When was the last bath and did you use anything new? Here are some videos that show some breathing issues: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...d-trachea.html |
I would. Its a upper respiratory infection I believe. Bella just went through it and still has like a hacking cough after 10 days of amoxcillian. |
I went up onto Youtube and checked out the videos regarding reverse sneezing, kennel cough and collapsed trachea and the sound was not the same. I Googled it and came up with snorting. He is snorting and that is what's causing the "goose" sound. He started doing this a couple of months ago and I attributed it to allergies. I lived in California, but have since moved to Florida and the little guy is still snorting. Can the vet prescribe something to prevent the snorting? |

I watch the pollen in my area as my Marcel has pollen issues...I watch at pollen.com - and they can send you daily emails for your zip code, if you're a geek like me . |
The snorting is completely normal on some yorkies. Watch this video: |
