bully sticks Ive seen mention of these..what are they? |
They are dehydrated bull penises and they look like this: Sorry, I thought I uploaded a photo but it didn't go. The bully stiks are chews that last a long time, the furries love them!! |
they are dried bull/steer penis. Good for teeth cleaning and if your dog is a chewer. Mine LOVE them. I buy two each time I get them and they always fight over one, its crazy. |
My puppy is almost 10 months old, do you think it would it be okay to give him a bully stick? Where do you buy yours? Every time I see them they're kinda' pricey. |
sticks OMG never heard of this is it good for the dogs??? where do you buy em? |
I get Roxy's from AMD a YT memeber. %TITLE_TAG% Roxy loves them. The other day she seemed a little bored & restless. A bully stick fixed that just fine. Not a peep out of her the rest of the day. Good for chewers too. |
Some YTrs have gotten some at pet stores, but may be called something else. Some brands are evidently quite stinky. AMD's are not. |

1 Attachment(s) They're really great for stemming begging at the table during dinner....they always keep her occupied for just long enough for us to get through dinner without barking/crazy zoomies/begging. lol! If you have a membership, Costco actually has a pack of 12 naturally treated foot-long ones for $20 right now in the store. They're really big for Stella, but half the fun is watching her try to carry it around the house and not realize how big it is...and I don't have to worry about her chewing it down to choking size for a LONG time. |

Bully sticks are all natural, and they don't break off & cause blockages like rawhide can. It helps clean their teeth, strengthen the teeth & jaws, & it's a great source of protein. Plus, most dogs love them. :) I buy mine from YT member AMD. Hers don't smell, and her prices are great. Her website is www.westbrookdog.com. |
I have 2 yorkies a male and a female, 7months old and 8 1/2 months old. I bought a pack of Redbarn Chew A Bulls at Petsmart but Tessie chewed a 6 inch stick without stopping in 45 minutes. How do I know for sure they are real bully sticks? We had braided bully sticks in the past and these took her much longer to chew. The package says these are made with real bully sticks. Also how often should I let them have a bully stick? I gave it to them at dinner tonight so they wouldn't beg at the table, this worked great except Tessie was almost finished before we were. My male Hobbes chews a lot slower than she does. |
