Allergic to Bully Sticks? This may be a silly question...;) I know what Bully Sticks are made of :p so this means they are 100% beef right? Moose is allergic to most beef products- would he be allergic to a bully stick? Trying everything in the book to keep him entertained (and me from losing my mind) after LP surgery! Thanks! |

Oh like deer antlers? Hadnt thought of that! I found 100% bison buffalo bully sticks but theyre backordered. Longlasting would be great because he's plowing through his chicken bones. |
Another good chew is Himalayan Dog Chews:thumbup: Himalayan Dog Chew comes from an ancient recipe of the people of the Himalayas. In the mountains at more than 15,000 feet, it is made using traditional methods with Yak or Cow Milk and all natural products and no chemicals or preservatives. Polo loves these he is chewing on one right now they last longer then bully sticks too!! I got mine from Ebay you can get them on Amazon too Himalayan Dog Chew - 100% Natural. Authentic. No Preservatives. An Everest Sized Treat |

If these come from real milk, what else is in them? Also if they are made with real food, how do they keep them from rotting if there are no preservatives? I'd need a lot more information on these things before feeding to my girls. |
3.5 oz (3-5 pieces) SRP USD 9.49 (CAD 12.49) each What do the letters SRP and CAD stand for? It was in the price list for the Himalayan Dog Chews. |
Guessing suggested retail price and Canadian dollars. |

Sugar is allergic to HeartGard, I thought it's because of beef, but later I accidentally gave her treats which has beef in it. But she's doing great! I guess it's not the beef, it must be some other ingredient in Heargard which caused the allergic. Is your furkid really allergic to beef? :) |
I purchased the Himalayan chew for my Maddie and she hid it. Gave her another piece and it just lays on the floor. She never touches it, but she loves a curly bully stick. Question on the antlers... I know deer hunters and would have access to deer horns. Would I just be able to have someone saw me off a portion of the antler for a chew or is something else done to it? Hate to buy it if I can get it free :D, not to mention I don't know if she will like it. |

But I have given antlers to my dog (and the cat was interested in them) that my family has shot. |
