Bachs Rescue Remedy/How much to give? Rescue Remedy came yesterday, however, dosage if for human consumption. How much do I give Buddy? There were no directions for a pet so I am so confused about dosage for him. Rescue people and other's who have used this product please help. Thanks, |
Carol, I'm no help on how much to give Buddy. Just wanted to say that I hope this helps! |
Did you get the original or the new one for pets? People gave the original one to pets for many years. If it's that one I'd think no more than 4 drops in water for a Yorkie. The new one for pets does not contain alcohol. Most drops do, especially coming from plant extracts. Don't panic about it if you have the original because for many years it was the only one and it was used for pets and kids too, and worked. They probably made the kids and pets version for people who preferred, or believed, it should be alcohol free. It's not rubbing alcohol or booze...lol |
Okay...funny that you're asking about this bc I *just* was recommending this to Kim (simonandhallie) yesterday for Simon bc he is so stressed about their move. I was also wondering if Hallie could use this, but don't know...with her kidney damage.... |
Oh, that is four little tiny drops. Not 4 full squeazes from the drop container. |
Is this the product you bought: Bach Flower Essences Rescue Remedy Rescue Remedy Drops & Spray Active Ingredients: HPUS 5x dilution of Helianthemum nummularium, Clematis vitalba, Impatiens glandulifera, Prunus cerasifera, and Ornithogalum umbellatum. Inactive Ingredients: Alcohol Dosage Information: Mix four drops of Rescue Remedy with one ounce of water. Three or four drops of the mixture can be given into the pet's mouth or onto the gums every five minutes until a response is seen. Rescue Remedy can also be rubbed directly on animals nose, ear or paw, or it can be given in your pet's water dish (use ten drops every time the water is changed). Choose the method easiest for you that ensures that the animal gets the correct dosage. |

Yes, that's it however there were no instructions for a pet's use, only human consumption. I am totally confussed here. It did say 4 drops per not sure amt of water. I re-read this am and saw nothing regarding pet's only use only the whole family, which I can assume means children as well. Is the pet and the original compatable? Yes, the one I ordered did have alcholol in it. |

Yes, I got the original, I did not know there were two different ones. It did say 4drops in water, forget how much water, or put directly in mouth. If 4 drops are for humans, why would the same amount be given to a pet? That's why I'm confused! |

Bach Flower Essences Rescue Remedy It's used to calm pets thru stressful situations. I haven't tried it yet, but think I might for trips to the vet for nail cutting. (If it doesn't work for Prince, maybe it'll work for me.:aimeeyork) |
I just read the description of it. sounds like I need to get some for Uni before we go to meetups! She is always a ball of nerves, then she gets that foamy mouth thing. I'm always a bit cautious of using meds though, natural or not. anyone else use this product? |
