found a bump.... i am a nervous wreck!!! i found a quarter size bump on sophie's hind leg this weekend. however it seems to be getting smaller. we have an appt with the vet on friday. but does anyone know what this may be? all i can think is the worst. |
Left or right side? When was her last vaccine? |
left side and she just was completely vaccinated in june... |
Glad to hear that you have an appointment and that it is getting smaller. Don't know what it could be, but does it feel like it might have fluid, does it move around? If the answer is "yes" to these questions, it will probably be okay. The good news is that it seems to be getting smaller. I would really think that this means it is not something really serious. I am hoping for the best for your little Sophie. Sending good thoughts and hugs to your baby. |
ugh isn't that the WORST? Layla had one on her eye brow- i was a mess until we went to the vet- it could be a bug bite- did you check to see if it is a tick? Maybe a bee sting? is it raised off the skin or does it look like it is under the skin? |
i wish we could go sooner but the vet is on vacation and that's the earliest we can get in. and yes it does move around...i'm just a nervous momma whos trying to hope for the best.:aimeeyork |
Okay, I am not someone with a medical background, but I do know that a lump that moves in not cancer. So, if you have had the C word in your brain, remove it. I taught women to do breast self exams, and the one thing that we told them was that the lump will not move. Take a deep breath, and give your baby a hug. |
Thanks Miss Sophie. you just took care of my biggest worry...i can now sigh a huge breath of relief b/c that was my first thought and it of course has constantly stayed on my mind. i would just die if anything happened to my baby. |
