What To Use For Tartar
 
I brush Polo's teeth every single day. Yesterday I noticed some Tartar on his teeth in the way back of his mouth. What can I use to help get rid of Tartar on teeth? Besides the teeth in the back, his other teeth look pearly white:D

I've heard wonderful things about Petzlife. :)
I have yet to use it.

I would recommend petzlife. It come in a spray or gel form.
We use the spray. A member AMD here sells it. It get's used
before bedtime, after eating and drinking. It has to be on the
teeth for 8hrs before giving food and water again in order for
it to work. Once the tartar is removed you can use the product
once or twice a wk for maintanence, which is what I now do.
Giving beef bones to chew on will also help remove the build up.

do they sell Petzlife spray at Petco or Petsmart?
I don't want to pay shipping.
So for the spray kind I would just spray it on his teeth before bedtime and its okay for it to stay on his teeth all night while he sleeps?
He also gets a lot of things to chew on Bully Sticks and Antlerz

Yes, that's how it's applied. One spritz on each side of the mouth.
The siliva from the mouth will spred it throughout.
Yes, bully sticks are fine. They chew with their back teeth so that
also helps with the tartar.
I'm not sure about those stores, I don't use them. I ordered direct
from petzlife. Check perhaps they do.
Don't forget to brush daily if possible. It really does help.

Petsmart does sell Petzlife, I've seen it. But it's fairly expensive there if I remember. It's almost sometimes cheaper to order online, even with shipping.

Wow that is AWESOME you brush his teeth everyday!! I need DH to help me brush Peanuts bc he is a complete brat! How old is Polo?

Peanut just had a dental done and his teeth are white and clean so I am going to get some Petzlife and start brushing more to keep up on it :D

Polo is One I brush his teeth every night before bedtime. At first it was like wrestling an alligator to get in his mouth. But then I got Poultry flavoured toothpaste and now he doesn't struggle as bad. I am also going to buy some of this Petzlife stuff.

Does anyone know which one works better the Petzlife gel or spray?
Where can I get this online that is Cheap?

this stuff seems pretty pricey for a small 4oz bottle
