small ichy red spots My teacup yorkie has small red spots on her back. She keeps itching at them and licking her paw repeatedly. She has been scratching at it vigorously for the past hour. Is there anything I should do or should I take her to the vet? |
Its so hard to tell what those spots are...and why they are there. I would take her to the vet.. |
I would take her to the vet tomorrow if you haven't taken her today, because most vets are closed on Sundays. It could be a whole variety of things, but it's better to be safe than sorry! |
Hopefully, you will take her to the vet. It could be a flea allergy or something more serious. |
Please take her to the vet - could be so many things, but what first comes to mind is flea allergy or pyoderma (staph intermedius). Please let us know how it goes! :) |
My babies (see separate post) have something similar on the back of their necks. I need to go for six week shots anyway, and will ask the vet. It is getting better, but cannot figure it out. Started out a couple of rather large scabby spots. I want it completely clear before I sell them. |
