I'm just curious as to what signs is he showing? Does he tear things up? Poop all over the carpet? We need a little more detail about your situation. |
Separation Anxiety Signs His signs are: he is barking the whole time I am gone, it makes him bark saliva all over the room I leave him in and its all under his jaw(soaked), he sometimes throws up from barking so hard and long, its like a foam, he has pooped once, he paces the whole time I am gone and when I get home, he is so hyped up from me being gone that its like he is having an asthma attack...he acts like he has ran a few miles without stopping....i noticed yesterday now that he has scartched the door..i leave paper now by each door because his saliva is in puddles sometimes and he tracks it all over the room...so he has sometimes scratched the paper, maybe even bit it, not sure....but he has never ever acted this way until about 2 months ago...he is in a laundry room that goes out to the garage....it is a pretty nice room for a lil dog and I only leave him off and on about 1/2 - 1 hour each time I go out during the day which is about 3-4 times and it doesnt matter how long i am gone he does the same thing and its started to get worse...he is started to whine while my husband is home with him and he is missing me....my husband says hes obsessed with me because he watched me all the time lol.....i am thinking of crating him while i am gone, i hope it doesnt give him a heart attack or shock him :(........suggestions?????? please i need help |
Hello there fellow Canadian. Ok so the dog is 13 years old and have start showing anxiety signs for about 2 months only. So he must be reacting to a change/new stress. Is there anything that have change in your everyday routine? Like a new work schedule, someone moving in or out of the house, New person in charge of feeding or walking the dog? Is there anyone in the house that have been sick or overly Stress out? Oh and also, Have you recently change oyur floor cleaning product? I would love to help you. The key ALWAYS is the found the cause of the reaction. |
I am so sorry your baby is having trouble. I hope someone with more experience here can help you! |
Awwww, poor little boy. I hope you can find some answers to his sudden change in behavior. Have you had him to the vet? Has he had any recent vaccinations? Personally I feel it is not good to vaccinate them when they get old. Could he be losing his hearing or eyesight? That could possibly cause him some stress. I pray you can find something to comfort him. |
aww thank you so much for your kind words |
