Yorkie stopped eating Royal Canin food all of the sudden... help So the breeder raised her on RC, and advised that we continue feeding our yorkie RC... she ate it, until today... today she just didn't want to eat RC but eats the other junior puppy food sample we got at the vet.. can someone tell me if this is normal? should we switch foods? or should we be worried? |
Our bundle did the same! Our breeder also recommended natural balance when our yorkie was older-so we switched her early-she loves her new food! |
My babies does not like RC so maybe it is time to change them |
it can just happen like that? in the morning she eats it, at night she hates it? last night she didnt eat, this morning she's hyper because last night we fed her some treats which are pedigree.. anyway, this morning she still won't eat RC... can they start hating a food so fast? ie: morning eats it, night refuses to? what should we do? plz help |

oh my god, im off to buy her the most expensive one i can find at the supermarket for now, the vet is closed to buy premium .. ahhh purina is that any good? |
Supermarket foods aren't a good choice at all.. They have by-products... corn meals and things like that... So much bad and not enough good go into those bags. I would recommend going to a pet store if you have one around that sells super premium foods... I feed mine Merricks and my dogs love it. There are a lot of good ones out there... I definetly wouldnt recommend purina at all. Also watch out for what they preserve it with as it could be ethoxyquin... which could be harmful to dogs. Check out dogfoodanalysis.com - Hope this helps:) |

Update, found out they sell it in Hungary, so today she's eating pedigree then from tomorrow Orijen if all goes as planned :) |
The same thing happened to my baby. She finished one bag of the R.C. and the second bag she only ate part of it. I want to try Orijen as well. I'm making the switch over in December, since the best I can find in Mexico is R.C. and I usually bring her food from the States. Hope your baby likes Orijen. :) |
