Best bully sticks Ok like anyother thing many companies make their own versions but i went to a petstore to purchase bullysticks for my babies and they smelled awful strange ....needless to say i returned them lol so what brand do you recommend ,my babies are waiting for something to chew lol |
I get mine at Petsmart.. I get the "red barn" bully sticks they dont have a smell at all!! I also heard of the Merricks brand, I heard those are really good as well!! I havent seen the Merricks brand.. I have only seen the "red barn" at petsmart thats why I get those. |
A lot of members, including myself, buy our from member AMD. I think the website is www.westbrookdog.com. I bought from Best Bully Sticks for a long time but prefer Westbrook's much better. |

That is the link to the member that sells the bully sticks :D |
I absolutely recommend AMD's bully sticks (Westbrook Dog which has already been recommended you to). They are wonderful, no smell and my babies go crazy over them. She does have sales occassionally, so to save a few dollars, I wait for those and I buy several at one time. :) |

I buy AMD's bullysticks also....I'll never buy anything else! |
I'm new to the puppy world, so I'm still learning all of this. Not to sound dumb... what are bully sticks? Are they a type of bone to chew on?? |

Well, to put it bluntly, they're processed bull's penis'. |
I use Merricks, and Apple loves them...She is very small, so they last her a long time...They do have an odor, when you first get them, but after a few days, it's not so bad, and, who cares, if they like them lol...But about what they are made of, I believe it is the cartilage inside the bull's penis, and it's actually real meat/protein and not just hide, like in rawhides...Hide can swell in their stomachs and intestines and cause all sorts of problems, so I don't use them... |

I've heard when you give a dog "real" meat products they can get aggressive with them. Is there a way to introduce them so they don't get aggressive?? |
