Why sometimes I hate going to PETSMART
 
99.9% of the time Peanut gets called a rat or a chiuahaha
The rep for some food is there...tonight it was Bill jac!! uck that food , I walked by her and she said " hello do you want to try a sample of bill jac" I said " no im sorry I dont like that food" she said " why dont you like it" i said " I dont like the ingredents" she says "well what do you feed your dog" i said " evo" she said..and at this point I am like wtf lady..are you trying to argue with me about this food I am NOT interested in!!! she said " well what is in evo that you like compared to....and then I said " I just dont like the food and walked away!!

I can't take it sometime!! People!! If I dont like the food and thats what i told you right from the start WHY are you fighting with me??? :mad:

Sorry I have to rant! I feel better!! :D

I realize that sales reps get paid to be pushy and they are just trying to do their job like everyone else out there. However, they also drive me NUTS! I don't want to have to explain myself to some stranger about why I don't want to buy their food. And second...if I switched my dog's food up to try a sample, that's only going to upset her stomach. Why would I want to do that?!?!

That happened to us last time we took Ellie.:mad:

First somebody came up and ended up saying part of her hair needed to be cut. Groomer soliciting business?
Then somebody wanted to know if they could help us find food. We said she get homecooked. We're pretty sure she was about to give us a lecture about that, but then we said it was for medical reasons, so we got out of that convo.
then a trainer had to bring the container of clickers of front so we could buy one. She talked for a verrrrrry long time about how to fix Ellie's problems (lol). She seems genuinely concerned, but then said maybe she needed one of their classes.:rolleyes: They all seem to pet without permission there too. Just because you are employees does not give you permission to pet my dog WHILE I AM HOLDING HER!!! without asking.:mad:

I hate the fact that I get what I know to be wrong advice from the sales associates all the time. I also have fish and a bird and I think many of the young kids who work there are making it up as they go. That can affect an animal's well-being!
